Manta by Ocean Kayak evokes the image of its namesake--a fast, beautiful,
and totally unique way to tour.
Ocean Kayak paid special attention to the shape of the Manta--at first glance, you'll notice its wing-like bow plane and sculpted hull detailing. Like other Ocean Kayak models, this shaping, though attractive, remains linked to function. The "wings" keep the bow of the kayak from pearling in waves, swells, and wakes to keep you on top of the water and cruising. Water Types: Flat water (bays, estuaries, lakes, and ponds), moderate ocean swells or waves, and slow moving rivers. Applications: Touring, fishing, diving, day play, nature watching, fitness, short and long distance paddling. Features: Bow plane, open cockpit, molded-in seat well and foot wells, large bow and stern 12" x 22" hatches, self-bailing cockpit, bow and stern carrying handles, threaded drain plug, lash down lines, molded-in cup holder, and durable linear polyethylene construction with molded-in graphics.
